We insist on comprehensive, intensive training, giving attendees what they need for excellence without filler or fluff to make up hours. Instead, we concentrate on real training avenues with the most up-to-date relevant tactics and information for attendees to help transform their investigations, whether on the street, as a detective/investigator, or as a member of a multidisciplinary team, or to address significant issues with leadership, program development, and trauma normalization - because it all goes together. We believe in the power of our justice and military communities working in concert with our neighborhoods to enhance safety and survivor support through effective investigation and resiliency.
Multi-disciplinary teams training for abuse and threat cases.
Violence recognition and response is a team effort to create programs across jurisdictions that work effectively to enhance safety. Teams cannot operate in silos but must function together. We train teams across disciplines to address cases of abuse (intimate partner, sexual, child abuse) and threat as one unit, working with all agencies. Our threat-specific training encourages jurisdictions to connect all of their threat-related teams (JTTF, Intimate partner abuse, mental health units responding to Tarasoff warnings, community violence threat assessment and management teams, etc.) as so often the goals are similar and connected. We want to keep costs down wherever possible, while still bringing great instructors to you. Our in-person training returning in the summer of 2022 across the U.S. will include our Two-Day Investigations Course and a third specialty course, unless we are just presenting the Homicide Course. Discounts will be available for more than five attendees per team/agency:

Virtual training is available for any agency or jurisdiction and our ACTION Academy Team members have provided this training routinely on Zoom platforms.
